As part of the One Country Team Approach and adherence to the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. who made sure no Filipino will be left behind, safely returned to the country tonight, June 24, our 31 countrymen who decided to flee from the Middle East due to the ongoing tension between Israel and Iran.

Government employees, including DMW, OWWA, DFA, DOH, and TESDA, welcomed our Filipino Countrymen mostly from Israel (26), and others from Jordan (3), Palestine (1), and Qatar (1), aboard Flight QR934 at NAIA Terminal 3.

OFWs were together with DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac throughout their trip home made sure all their travel needs were met.
Upon arrival at the airport, they were immediately welcomed by OWWA Administrator PY Caunan, and other OWWA and DMW officials as part of the whole-of-government approach to helping Filipinos affected by the situation in the Middle East.

With the help of our OWWA Regional Welfare Offices, some families of OFWs were also able to attend the reception to personally witness the return of their loved ones.
Now that they are back in the country, the repatriated OFWs will receive a financial assistance package from DMW and OWWA, TESDA training vouchers, medical check-ups, psychosocial support, and access to various livelihood and reintegration programs from OWWA and partner agencies.

Partner agencies of OWWA and DMW in providing reintegration support include the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Department of Tourism (DOT) as part of whole-of-government response.

This successful repatriation is a testament to the thorough coordination of OWWA and its affiliate agencies to ensure the safety, protection, and smooth return of our OFWs to their families and communities.


Maligayang Pagbabalik sa bansa, mga Kabayan!

Bilang bahagi ng One Country Team Approach at pagtalima sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na tiyaking walang Pilipinong maiiwan, ligtas nang nakabalik sa bansa ngayong gabi, Hunyo 24, ang 31 nating Kababayan na nagpasyang lumikas na mula sa Middle East dahil sa patuloy na tensyon sa pagitan ng Israel at Iran.

Malugod na sinalubong ng mga kawani ng pamahalaan, kabilang na ng DMW, OWWA, DFA, DOH, at TESDA, ang mga Kababayan nating Pinoy karamihan mula sa Israel (26), at iba pa mula sa Jordan (3), Palestine (1), at Qatar (1), lulan ng Flight QR934 sa NAIA Terminal 3.

Nakasama ng mga OFWs si DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac sa kabuuan ng kanilang biyahe pauwi na siyang tumiyak na natutugunan ang lahat ng kanilang pangangailangan sa paglalakbay.
Pagdating sa paliparan, agad silang sinalubong nina OWWA Administrator PY Caunan, at iba pang mga opisyal ng OWWA at DMW bilang bahagi ng whole-of-government approach sa pagtulong sa mga Pilipinong naapektuhan ng sitwasyon sa Middle East.

Sa tulong ng ating mga OWWA Regional Welfare Offices, ilan sa mga pamilya ng OFWs ang nakadalo rin sa pagsalubong upang personal na masaksihan ang pagbabalik ng kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.
Ngayong nakauwi na sila sa bansa, ang mga repatriated OFWs ay tatanggap ng financial assistance package mula sa DMW at OWWA, TESDA training vouchers, medical check-up, psychosocial support, at access sa iba’t ibang livelihood at reintegration programs mula sa OWWA at mga partner agencies.

Kasama sa mga ahensyang katuwang ng OWWA at DMW sa pagbibigay ng reintegration support ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), at Department of Tourism (DOT) bilang bahagi ng whole-of-government response.

Ang matagumpay na repatriation na ito ay patunay ng masinsinang koordinasyon ng OWWA at mga ahensyang kaagapay nito para matiyak ang seguridad, proteksyon, at maayos na pagbabalik ng ating mga OFW sa kanilang pamilya at komunidad.
