Seven (7) OFWs who are among the first batch of repatriated from Iran visited the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) office, following the ongoing tension between Israel and Iran, yesterday, June 29.
They were gladly welcomed by Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac and OWWA Administrator PY Caunan, where the OFWs shared their experiences amid tension. Also explained to them the aids and benefits one can receive from DMW and OWWA as part of the reintegration support program of the government.
As part of their comeback, they immediately got the OWWA OFW E-Card, which will serve as their identity and access pass to OWWA’s programs and services.
DMW and OWWA continue to provide assistance to OFWs amid crisis to ensure their safety, well-being, and sound return to their families and communities.
Pagbabalik-bansa ng unang batch ng repatriated OFWs mula Iran, tinutukan ng DMW at OWWA
Bumisita sa tanggapan ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ang pitong (7) OFWs na kabilang sa unang batch ng mga repatriated mula Iran, kasunod ng patuloy na tensyon sa pagitan ng Israel at Iran, kahapon, Hunyo 29.
Masaya silang tinanggap nina Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac at OWWA Administrator PY Caunan, kung saan ibinahagi ng mga OFW ang kanilang mga naging karanasan sa gitna ng tensyon. Ipinaliwanag din sa kanila ang mga tulong at benepisyong maaaring matanggap mula sa DMW at OWWA bilang bahagi ng reintegration support program ng pamahalaan.
Bilang bahagi ng kanilang pagbabalik, agad na rin silang kumuha ng OWWA OFW E-Card, na magsisilbing kanilang pagkakakilanlan at access pass sa mga programa at serbisyo ng OWWA.
Patuloy ang DMW at OWWA sa pagbibigay ng tulong sa mga OFWs sa gitna ng krisis upang matiyak ang kanilang kaligtasan, kagalingan, at maayos na pagbabalik sa kanilang mga pamilya at komunidad.
