LOOK: Thanksgiving and Dedication Ceremony for DMW-OWWA OFW Global Center in Hongkong was held today. This OFW Global Center was established in compliance with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to provide a proper facility to our OFWs in Hongkong.

This Center is located at the 18th Floor, United Center, Admiralty Bldg and contains various training venues for OFWs to use for their training and learning sessions. Also seen here is the bigger and improved Migrant’s Brew Coffee Shop, a coffee shop that serves free coffee for OFWs. The center aims to give OFWs a place to rest on their rest day every week.

Attended the program of OWWA Administrator Arnell Ignacio, Philippine Consulate General Acting Head of Post Maria Sheila Monedero – Arnesto, DMW Usec Felicitas Bay and Usec Dominique Rubia-Tutay, Officials from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Presidential Communications Office (PCO), Social Partners and the Filipino Community in Hong Kong.

The government’s service continues for our OFWs and their Families wherever they are in the world.

Global Center para sa OFWs sa Hong Kong, itinayo bilang tugon sa direktiba ni PBBM

TINGNAN: Ngayong araw ginanap ang Thanksgiving at Dedication Ceremony para sa DMW-OWWA OFW Global Center sa Hongkong. Ang OFW Global Center na ito ay naitatag bilang pagtalima sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na bigyan ng isang maayos na pasilidad ang ating mga OFWs sa Hongkong.

Ang Center na ito ay matatagpuan sa 18th Floor, United Center, Admiralty Bldg at naglalaman ng iba’t ibang training venues para magamit ng mga OFWs para sa kanilang training and learning sessions. Makikita din dito ang mas pinalaki at pinagandang Migrant’s Brew Coffee Shop, ang coffee shop na libre ang kape para sa mga OFWs. Layunin ng center na ito na bigyan ng lugar pahingahan ang mga OFWs sa kanilang rest day tuwing linggo.
