To better understand the agency’s operations, programs, and services offered for Filipino migrants, a delegation from Bangladesh led by Hon. Neyamat Ullah Bhuiyan, Senior Secretary of Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment (MEWOE) visited the OWWA Office yesterday, July 2, 2025.

They were warmly welcomed and given an opportunity to ask questions regarding OWWA’s programs, specifically for household service workers (HSWs). This is part of their benchmarking initiative to take a look at mechanisms that can be applied to the welfare of Bangladeshi workers abroad.

Presided by Planning Director Ma. Lourdes Reyes, Operations Center Director Atty. Sherilyn Malonzo, Legal Office Head Atty. Anna Patricia Jacobo, PDOS Representative Pilipina Dino, Repatriation Officer Jan Erwin Reyes, RWO-NCR Chief of Program Services Division Mohammad Victor, RwO-NCR WAU and Operations Center Head Anna Liza Estrada, and Training Program Manager Jessa Joy Cepriano the presentation and walkthrough of the different facilities of OWWA.

A meaningful knowledge exchange that proves OWWA’s dedication to advancing best practices in migrant welfare care.

Upang higit pang maunawaan ang mga operasyon, programa, at serbisyong handog ng ahensya para sa mga migranteng Pilipino, bumisita sa OWWA Office kahapon, Hulyo 2, ang delegasyon mula sa Bangladesh sa pangunguna ni Hon. Neyamat Ullah Bhuiyan, Senior Secretary ng Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment (MEWOE).

Mainit silang tinanggap at binigyang pagkakataon na magtanong hinggil sa mga programa ng OWWA, partikular para sa household service workers (HSWs). Bahagi ito ng kanilang benchmarking initiative para masilip ang mga mekanismong maaaring maangkop sa kapakanan ng mga Bangladeshing manggagawa sa ibang bansa.
