28 victims of illegal recruitment were immediately handled by OWWA at the Central Office after they sought help from Senator Raffy Tulfo last January 14. The victims were recruited through a Facebook post encouraging them to pay from ₱10,000 to ₱37,000 for medical and visa processing. We were once again able to deport a total of 23 OFWs from Israel, last night, December 27. They were immediately welcomed by the OWWA Airport Team and staff from Department of Migrant Workers and given financial assistance.
