In commemoration of the 30th National Migrant Workers’ Day, a colorful and meaningful celebration was conducted by the OWWA Regional Welfare Office–NCR headed by Director Ma. Teresa Capa, together with our energetic members of OFW Family Circles, yesterday, June 6.
One of the highlights of the program is the touching theatrical performance from the children of OFWs who are part of the OFW Children Circle, entitled “Dear OWWA. ”The performance features the experiences of children left behind here in the Philippines—stories of longing, endurance, and love. It also showed how OWWA continues to be there in every stage of life of the Families of OFWs, anywhere in the world.
DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac, who not only attended, but also danced on the stage with Dir. Capa and the energetic performers!
The celebration was made even happier with games, fun activities, and raffle draw, which brought smiles and joy to all attendees.
