LOOK: In continual adherence to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr’s directive that “No Filipino Left Behind”, the fourth batch of OFWs from Israel under Voluntary Repatriation of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), today. Flight EY446 will rain at NAIA Terminal 3 tonight, July 10.
The group consists of 18 OFWs and one (1) dependent volunteer who decided to return home amid the ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran. They were welcomed by OWWA representatives led by Deputy Administrator Ryan Uy, together with staff from DMW led by ASEC Kiko de Guzman and ASEC Maria Regina Angela Galias, and MIAA Medical Team to immediately provide food assistance, medical check-up, and transport arrangements.
In total, 90 OFWs from Israel benefited from the government’s voluntary repatriation program amid the unrest in the region. Since the eruption of tensions in October 2023 it has reached 1,424 Filipinos who have been repatriated from different countries in the Middle East, as part of the government’s extensive assistance to ensure the safety of every Filipino in times of crisis.
Repatriates will receive financial assistance, medical assistance, psychosocial support, training vouchers, and access to the livelihood and reintegration services of OWWA and partner government agencies.
The success of these repatriation efforts is a testament to the thorough collaboration of relevant agencies under the One Country Team Approach.
Tuloy-tuloy ang Repatriation: Bagong grupo ng OFWs mula Israel, nakauwi na sa Pilipinas
TINGNAN: Bilang patuloy na pagtalima sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr na “No Filipino Left Behind”, Dumating na sa bansa ang ika-apat na batch ng mga OFWs mula Israel sa ilalim ng Voluntary Repatriation ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) at Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), ngayong araw, lulan ng Flight EY446 sa NAIA Terminal 3, ngayong gabi, Hulyo 10.
Ang grupo ay binubuo ng 18 OFWs at isang (1) dependent na boluntaryong nagpasya nang umuwi sa gitna ng nagpapatuloy na tensyon sa pagitan ng Israel at Iran. Sinalubong sila ng mga kinatawan ng OWWA sa pangunguna ni Deputy Administrator Ryan Uy, kasama ang mga kawani mula sa DMW sa pangunguna ni ASEC Kiko de Guzman at ASEC Maria Regina Angela Galias, at MIAA Medical Team upang agad na mabigyan ng food assistance, medical check-up, at transport arrangements.
