Last January 20, 2022, a total of ten (10) OFWs received the amount of PHP 10,000.00 representing the Financial Relief Assistance Package (FRAP) given to those workers who were displaced in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to the bankruptcy and closure of companies and business establishments during the period of 2016 to 2019. The assistance is given as a response of the Government since most of these workers were having a hard time to reintegrate themselves through alternate employment or to establish a sustainable livelihood.

The program is a one-time cash grant which is intended to ease the difficulties of the worker and to stimulate economic activities.

The turn-over was attended by OWWA Region 10 Regional Director Harry Borres, OWWA Officer James UY, and Focal Person for Reintegration Programs Danny Bulosan.
