Safely returned to the country last night, August 4, the 15 OFWs from Jeddah aboard Oman Air Flight WY843 landing at NAIA Terminal 1.
Upon arriving in the country, they were welcomed by representatives from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), including some staff from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and MIAA Medical Team. Our Countrymen were immediately provided financial assistance, medical check-up, psychosocial support, transport assistance to ensure their proper return to their families in the province, and hotel accommodation if needed.
OWWA and DMW continue to implement repatriation efforts to ensure that our fellow OFWs can be safely returned to the Philippines, in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. that no Filipino will be left behind in times of need.
15 OFWs mula Jeddah, nakauwi na sa bansa
Ligtas na nakabalik sa bansa kagabi, Agosto 4, ang 15 OFWs mula Jeddah sakay ng Oman Air Flight WY843 na lumapag sa NAIA Terminal 1.
Pagdating nila sa bansa, sinalubong sila ng mga kinatawan mula sa Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), kasama ang ilang mga kawani mula sa Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) at MIAA Medical Team. Agad na ipinagkaloob sa ating mga Kababayan ang tulong pinansyal, medical check-up, psychosocial support, transport assistance upang matiyak ang maayos nilang pagbalik sa kanilang mga pamilya sa probinsya, at hotel accommodation kung kinakailangan.
Patuloy ang OWWA at DMW sa pagpapatupad ng repatriation efforts upang siguraduhing ligtas na maibabalik sa Pilipinas ang mga kababayan nating OFW, alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na walang Pilipinong maiiwan sa oras ng pangangailangan.
