Today, we assured the psychosocial well-being of eight Filipino seafarers who returned home safely yesterday, March 18, through a psychosocial counseling session before their voyage home to their respective provinces.

They will be remembered to be aboard the Portuguese-flagged cargo vessel “Solong”, which collided with the US oil tanker Stena Immaculate on March 10, 2025, at the Humber Estuary, East Yorkshire, England.

OWWA continues to provide guidance and support to our seafarers to help them rise from any challenge.

Ngayong araw, tiniyak natin ang psychosocial well-being ng walong Filipino seafarers na ligtas na nakauwi kahapon, Marso 18, sa pamamagitan ng isang psychosocial counseling session bago ang kanilang biyahe pauwi sa kani-kanilang probinsya.

Matatandaan na sila ay sakay ng Portuguese-flagged cargo vessel “Solong”, na bumangga sa US oil tanker Stena Immaculate noong Marso 10, 2025, sa Humber Estuary, East Yorkshire, England.

Patuloy ang OWWA sa pagbibigay ng gabay at suporta sa ating mga seafarers upang matulungan silang makabangon mula sa anumang pagsubok.
