SNOFCA remained united after 2 years

The Sto Nino OFW Family Circle Association (SNOFCA) of Mintal, Davao City continues to remain united as they celebrated its 2nd year anniversary last September 12, 2014 at Rolly Justos Residence. Bellido and PSD Chief Zenobia L.  Caro witnessed the fun and exciting moments of the OFC.  With the theme, “Palakasin at Pagtibayin ang Buhay ng Pamilyang Pilipino”, the celebration was filled with games and surprises.

SNOFCA was organized by OWWA last July 30, 2012 with twenty (20) members and duly registered by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on May 12, 2014. As a legitimate association, they engaged in meat processing and meat retailing as their project. The income earned served as their savings.

OWWA XI Regional Director Eduardo E. Bellido gave inspirational message to the members of the OFC. He stressed that running an organization is not an easy task. It needs more patience and determination on the part of the officers. To have harmonious relationship within the organization, all transactions must be transparent. Members must know what are the activities and transactions made. He said that, the organization must have unity of purpose. “You have different opinions and ideas but you have one goal to achieve which is to become progressive and developed”, said Mr. Bellido. “OWWA is here to guide and assist you in all your undertakings”, added Dir. Bellido who wish to have a one-day session with the association to discuss their future plans. He further advised the OFC members to immediately settle whatever misunderstandings that will arise within the organization. Meanwhile, PSD Chief Zenobia L. Caro extended her warm greetings to all the members of the OFC and wished them more anniversaries to celebrate.

SNOFCA is one of the OFW Family Circles who actively participated in all activities spearheaded by OWWA. With the strong leadership of the officers and abled assistance of Family Welfare Officer Melody Ember P. Tomas, the association remained united and strong. Despite the challenges, the association did their best to surpass all hardships. The advice of Dir.
