OWWA RWO VI conducts youth leadership workshop for scholars

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Regional Welfare Office (OWWA RWO) VI recently conducted its annual Learning Support Mechanism activity for scholars called “Developing Youth Leaders” last December 10, 2016.

 

Twenty-two (22) scholars from the Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP), OFW Dependents Scholarship Program (OFWDSP), and Education and Livelihood Assistance Program (ELAP) attended the said activity at the Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City.

 

Atty. Jose Donel Trasporto served as the resource speaker of the event, where he discussed topics that dealt with describing the characteristics of effective leaders and discussing the role of the youth in nation-building.
